Born in Tijuana, Mexico, Sarah is a filmmaker and creative artist passionate about exploring the intersections of identity, memory, and place. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences at the Autonomous University of Baja California, merging her academic training with an artistic vision that challenges conventions.

In 2024, she founded The Burning Woman Productions, a production house and exhibition platform dedicated to narratives by women and sex-gender diverse individuals. This led to her selection as part of the first cohort of the seminar ‘New Frontiers in Audiovisual Production in Mexico,’ hosted by Netflix, Pimienta Films, and the Mexican Academy of Cinematic Arts and Sciences.

Her work, deeply rooted in the complexity of her hometown, seeks to provoke, question, and transform.
