In the Amazonian triple border between Colombia, Peru, and Brazil, an indigenous trans beauty pageant is born that challenges age-old prejudices. Saray, Ariadna, and Ashley, trans girls belonging to different ethnicities, travel to Leticia to compete for the coveted crown. John Agudelo Director, screenwriter and film/TV editor from the National University of Colombia, with over 15 years of experience as an audiovisual filmmaker. Among his most outstanding projects is his thesis film, the short film "El camino a La Soledad", winner of the Best Short Film award at the Santander International Film Festival. The short film "Gilberto Cava", winner of two awards at the RENUAC film festival and nominated in more than 12 film festivals in Colombia and worldwide. His television series: Generación Z; Nominated for the Best of Latin American TV Awards in 2019. The television documentary series "16 de mayo" nominated for the India Catalina Awards in 2020, the fiction series "Mito-Agentes" nominated for the India Catalina Awards in 2022, the documentary series "Los Pasos del Magdalena" and the documentary series "Yariguies - La historia de un pueblo en 639 palabras", both nominated for the India Catalina Awards in 2024. His most recent film work, the short film "Yolanda Camina Sola", premiered at the Moscow International Film Festival and currently nominated in more than 14 different film festivals around the world.
